starting dayz..

Hey everyone , my name is praful & i'm going to share my experiences about my life at engineering.Right now when i'm writing this post i've just completed  my 2nd year exams... and optimistic for some good results.

So, without wasting much of the time i would like to continue with my experiences at Asansol Engineering College.  This is a beautiful & technically advanced college situated in the other half of Asansol , approximately 10 minutes from railway station. I took admission in this college in 2009. It would be unfair to say that i was nervous during my starting days , actually i was a kind of curious at that time.Curious about the ragging, other students, faculties ... cutting short i was curious about this whole college life.So,when i first entered into my class room , i found boys and girls standing just after some seconds of my presence there. I was surprised and then calmly went on to sit on an empty sit on the second last bench. Everyone then realized that i was one of them .Students were looking at me suspiciously , after minutes of observing me someone from back said "bahut hero ban raha hai , lagta hai abhi tak seniors s mulakat nahi hui hai ". Then observing all of the students more closely i found out that each one of them were wearing college dress with a tie clutching there neck with short hair .I was just vice versa to them  wearing a totally fancy dress , jeans , long hair and everything else of which other students would be jealous about. Then they disclosed the activities of merciless seniors , of  how  were they forced to wear this type of dress code.I knew these were the scenario which was bound to be prevailed in the 1st year of our stay at the college.Before joining the college ,I had heard a lot of scary stories of the freshers being brutally harassed by there seniors.I was expecting the same here but strangely seniors were quite friendly at least for me except for some exceptions. We were called 1st year , by our seniors and we would try to run if ever we hear that line at the streets , college campus or anywhere.So, u can see my 1st few days was quite adventures then being a nightmare.
